DRUG & ALCOHOL SCREENING
Turn around time is in minutes for not DOT screens and between one and two days for DOT level drug screening. This can be done as part of a fitness for duty, dot, or post injury examination.

For negative results we usually notify you in one day. For positive results, we contact you immediately upon discovering results.

DRUG TESTING
Whatever the drug-testing reason—pre-employment, post-accident, random, or reasonable suspicion, DOT or NDOT—BPIMC's Employee Screening Services tailor-fit to employer needs.

On-Site Drug Tests:

  • 5, 7, 9, and 10 Panel Dip
  • 5 and 10 Panel Integrated Cup
  • 4, 5, and 6 Panel Oral Fluids
  • Expanded Opiates Testing
  • MDMA (Ecstasy)
  • Adulterants Testing

Employees can be tested on-site by trained individuals using rapid test technology. Negative results are available within minutes. Non-negative screens are confirmed at a SAMHSA certified laboratory. All positive results reported by the lab are sent to the laboratories' physician Medical Review Officer (MRO) to examine each case, including contacting the employee to determine if there are mitigating reasons for the results.

LABORATORY TESTING
Employers can easily locate and arrange specimen collection sites with BPIMC. BPIMC works with SAMHSA certified laboratories to perform DOT and NDOT laboratory drug-test analysis and specimen confirmation testing services. Oral fluids, urine, or hair testing services are also available. Confirmations of positive screens are performed using the sensitive technology of Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS). Results are electronically communicated to BPIMC's laboratory physician MRO within minutes of testing completion. All positive results reported by the lab are sent to an MRO to examine each case.

Laboratory Drug Tests:

  • SAMHSA-Certified Laboratories
  • GC/MS Confirmation
  • DOT and NDOT Panels
  • Urine
  • Oral Fluids
  • Hair
  • Certified Medical Review

BLOOD BORN PATHOGEN & POST EXPOSURE SERVICES
We can help you with immunizations and with MRO functions should one of your employees have a potential pathogen exposure. We routinely help employers with Tuberculosis, Aids, and Hepatitis concerns.

Labs
We use many national and local labs and can arrange for almost any commercially available test for your employee.

HEARING TESTS
Legal ramifications for hearing loss are great. We work with you to develop and maintain a hearing conservation program that will limit exposures. (call for price)

RESPIRATOR CLEARANCES & FIRE BRIGADE EXAMINATIONS
We help you to clear employees so that they can safely and legally use respirators. This includes the use of a newly developed examination that is in compliance with the updated OSHA requirements. We are also expert in the use and interpretation of pulmonary function (spirometric) data. (call for price)

INDEPENDENT MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS
Independent Medical Examinations must be expert and sophisticated. We partner with you in this service. (call for price)

FITNESS FOR DUTY AND SAFETY EXAMINATIONS
We provide PRE EMPLOYMENT AND RETURN TO DUTY examinations. As part of these services, we suggest the appropriateness of the patient's candidacy based on my findings, and we would also give you our suggested limitations and restrictions for the patients' work. These findings would be designed to balance the risk your company is exposed to when you elect to bring a candidate on board with the need to hire the employee. I will call you for all questionable candidates, and I will send you the original physical exam for all candidates.
